PARASITE CLEANSE
Evicting Unwanted Guests: The Ultimate Guide to Parasites and Essential Oils
Parasites have been humanity's unwanted companions since time immemorial. These freeloaders, ranging from microscopic protozoa to larger worms, can cause a variety of health issues. Unfortunately, parasitic infections are often overlooked or misdiagnosed, leaving many people unaware they're hosting these uninvited guests.
Understanding Parasitic Infections
Parasites are organisms that live on or inside a host, deriving their nutrients at the host's expense. Humans can become hosts to a wide range of parasites, including protozoa, helminths (worms), and ectoparasites like lice and mites. These infections can be acquired through contaminated food, water, insect bites, or direct contact with infected individuals or animals.
The Sneaky Nature of Parasites
Parasites are adept at evading detection. Many are microscopic, making them hard to spot. Plus, standard parasite tests often miss them due to their limited scope and accuracy. Symptoms of parasitic infections vary widely and can mimic other conditions, such as gastrointestinal issues, fatigue, and skin problems, leading to frequent misdiagnosis.
Facing the Reality of Parasites
It's easy to think parasites are a problem only in certain parts of the world or among certain populations, but they are truly ubiquitous. They can be found in virtually every environment and can infect anyone, regardless of geography or lifestyle. Ignoring this reality only allows these organisms to thrive unnoticed in our bodies.

Effective Parasite Cleansing
One of the best ways to rid your body of parasites is through a thorough detox. You should commence a parasite cleanse the same time as a new moon. It’s thought that parasites are more active and vulnerable around a full moon.
Why Are Parasites More Active During a Full Moon?
Circadian and Lunar Rhythms: Just as the moon influences tidal patterns and animal behavior, it also affects the biological rhythms of parasites. Many parasites have evolved to synchronise their activity with the cycles of their hosts, and some studies suggest that they become more active during the full moon.
Host Hormonal Changes: The full moon can affect the hormonal cycles of animals and humans, potentially influencing the behavior and activity levels of parasites. For example, some studies suggest that melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep and wake cycles, can impact the life cycle of parasites.
Reproductive Cycles: Some parasites, especially those that live in the gastrointestinal tract, may time their reproductive cycles with lunar phases. The full moon could trigger an increase in reproductive activity, leading to higher parasite activity and movement within the host.
Evidence Supporting Increased Parasite Activity
Scientific Studies: Research has shown that certain parasites, such as the protozoan Plasmodium (which causes malaria), exhibit circadian rhythms that may be influenced by lunar cycles. Other studies on parasites like Schistosoma mansoni and Toxoplasma gondii also suggest they may be more active during the full moon.
Anecdotal Evidence: Many holistic and alternative health practitioners observe that their patients report increased symptoms of parasitic infections during the full moon. Symptoms such as digestive issues, restlessness, and heightened anxiety are often noted during this time.
Essential Oils: Nature’s Potent Anti-Parasitic Agents
I wanted a parasite cleanse that the whole family could embark on - including young children. Essential oils are concentrated plant extracts known for their medicinal properties. Here’s a detailed look at some of the most effective oils for combating parasites:
Oregano Oil: Known for its high levels of carvacrol and thymol, oregano oil is a powerhouse against parasites. These compounds disrupt biofilms—protective layers parasites create—making it easier for your immune system to eliminate them.
Thyme Oil: Similar to oregano, thyme oil contains thymol and other compounds that damage parasites’ internal structures and inhibit their ability to reproduce.
Tea Tree Oil: This oil is well-known for its antifungal and antibacterial properties. It also has antiparasitic effects, disrupting the enzymes parasites use to damage their host and enhancing the immune response.
Fennel Oil: Effective against both parasite eggs and adult worms, fennel oil also helps break up biofilms, making parasites more vulnerable to your immune system.
Black Cumin Oil: Black cumin oil affects all stages of parasitic development. It weakens parasites by reducing biofilm, impairing egg-laying, and causing oxidative stress in adult worms.
Clove Oil: Clove oil is a potent antiseptic that can inhibit parasite larvae and induce apoptosis (programmed cell death) in parasites.
Ginger Oil: Known for its digestive benefits, ginger oil also helps reduce parasite numbers in the intestines and liver and alleviates inflammation caused by these invaders.
Peppermint Oil: Known for its soothing properties, peppermint oil can also help expel parasites and ease abdominal pain.
Myrrh Oil: Releases nitric oxide, which is toxic to parasites, and blocks harmful cytokine release caused by parasitic infections.
Frankincense Oil: Reduces inflammation and protects organs from damage caused by parasites.
Chamomile Oil: Destroys parasite larvae and biofilms, making other anti-parasitic treatments more effective.
Cinnamon Oil: Stops parasite larvae movement and destroys their digestive systems.
Additional Plant Oils for Parasite Cleansing
While not essential oils, these plant oils also have significant anti-parasitic properties:
Coconut Oil: Contains medium-chain fatty acids that can help expel parasites by making it difficult for them to adhere to intestinal walls.
Castor Oil: Widely used as a deworming agent, castor oil acts as a laxative to flush out parasites.
DIY Anti-Parasitic Protocol (to be used on its own or alongside a Comprehensive Detox Protocol)
You can use all of the oils listed above or just a few. To enhance effectiveness, I would recommend using a combination of at least two or three different oils. Here is an example of how you could use the oils.
Capsules: 4 drops Oregano, 2 drops Clove and top with fractionated coconut oil. Take one capsule three times daily - preferably on an empty stomach.
Belly Rub: Combine two drops of clove oil and two drops of oregano oil with a tablespoon of castor oil. Rub the mixture on your belly in a clockwise motion and place a hot water bottle over the area for 30 minutes. A castor oil compress can also be used. Do this nightly before bed.
Topical: For children or adults who can’t swallow capsules, it is recommended to apply the oils topically over the abdomen, soles of the feet and down the spine every morning and night.
Follow the above protocol for 21 days, then take 7 days off. Repeat protocol as necessary.
Complete removal may take 3-4 months due to the parasite life cycle.
How to Use Activated Charcoal as a binder
Incorporating activated charcoal as a binder during a parasite cleanse can be very beneficial. Activated charcoal is known for its ability to bind toxins and help remove them from the body. This can be particularly useful during a parasite cleanse as it can help to mop up the toxins and by-products released by dying parasites, potentially reducing detox symptoms.
Dosage:
Activated Charcoal Capsules: Follow the dosage instructions on the product label, typically 500 mg to 1000 mg (1-2 capsules) once or twice daily.
Activated Charcoal Powder: If using powder, mix 1 teaspoon into a glass of water and drink it once or twice daily.
Timing:
Separate from Medications and Supplements: Take activated charcoal at least 2 hours before or after any medications or supplements, including your essential oil capsules. This prevents the charcoal from binding to and reducing the effectiveness of your medications and supplements.
Before Bed: Taking activated charcoal before bed can help bind toxins that accumulate throughout the day.
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day to help prevent constipation and aid in the elimination of toxins.
